Thanksgiving 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! With three turkeys, over ten side dishes, and even more desserts...we were stuffed! We had a great time, and it was so much fun to break in the new house with a get together with some of our favorite people. The day was very relaxing. Ray fried turkeys, and my Mom came over bright and early in the morning to help put the extra large turkey in the oven. This has become a bit of a tradition, as my Mom started helping me with the turkey (since I had no idea what to do with it) when we first began hosting Thanksgiving dinner. At this point, I just love the tradition that it has become!

Let it snow!

Friday was such a fun day! It snowed...and it wasn't just "rain that looked like it could possibly resemble snow"snow...it really snowed! Ray got home from work early, so we turned the Christmas music up and got all bundled up! Brayden didn't know what to think at first, but then he and Ray made a little snowman together. Of course, he had to taste the snow too. We had a lot of fun playing in it!

Starting up

I decided to start a blog...since I am quite the blog stalker, I figured it is probably about time to start up my own. Brayden's baby website was a great first year keepsake, but I hope to use this blog as my form of scrapbooking and keeping a log of the "goings on" with our family.
