Our Weekend in San Antonio

Last weekend, Ray and I had a great time in San Antonio. We left on Friday afternoon to head up there. We had such a relaxing weekend, and we had a lot of fun at Lerrin and Logan's housewarming party on Saturday night. It was a nice little getaway, but we were excited to come home on and see our little man. Brayden spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa, and he had lots of fun keeping them very entertained!

24 Weeks

This pregnancy is really flying by! Ray painted the baby's room a few weeks ago, and I LOVE the color we chose. We went back and forth on the shade of pink to paint it, and I am so happy with the one we chose. It is very soft, and it will compliment the bedding and furniture really well! I had my 24 week checkup, and everything looks great. I passed my glucose test, which I am super excited about! She moves around inside of me a lot, which is so much fun! I love watching my belly move around. We are actually starting to be able to figure out what is poking out of me (like an elbow or a foot)! I continue to be thankful that I feel great and that I haven't even had any trouble sleeping...yet. : )

Sweet Conversation with my Little Man

Brayden loves to read "The New Baby" before bedtime and naptime lately. It is always his first choice. After we read the book today, he kissed my belly and we had this conversation:

Me: Aww, that was so sweet to give the baby a kiss.
Brayden: Kisses and hugs (he then hugged my belly and continuted to hug my belly while we talked)
Me: What are you going to do with the baby when she is here?
Brayden: Play ball
Me: What else are you going to do?
Brayden: Play shoot ball (he calls basketball shoot ball)
Me: She will love that.
Brayden: Bat ball
Me: You are going to be such a good big brother! Are you going to read books to her?
Brayden: Night night Mommy. (He then pointed to his crib. Our conversation was over. ha!)
